The Mission

Ranked the world’s top young university, NTU leads in technology and is an important player in realizing Singapore’s Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Backed by Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), NTU partners Dutch Semiconductor group NXP successfully moulded the 200 hectare campus as a “live” test-bed for future ITS advances.

Our Solution

The vision of ITS is all about connectivity; and Vehicle-To-Everything (V2x) technology perfectly embodies this vision. Syspro was proud to partake in the supply, installation and integration of surveillance cameras, wireless and network infrastructure. Coupled with our advanced Video Management System, vehicles are now linked and can communicate with each other seamlessly. V2x technology also provides drivers with a real-time update of traffic conditions, thus enabling a pleasant driving experience.

The Outcome

Provides a platform for industry collaboration and R&D purposes to validate future ITS plans and prototypes. A step towards building Singapore as a sustainable green city by lowering traffic accidents and congestion, CO² emission and travel time.
