The Challenge

Singapore Power (SP) is one of Singapore’s largest corporations, and a leading energy utility company in Asia Pacific. SP takes pride in their world-class electricity & gas network performance, with Singapore having one of the fewest and shortest power outages worldwide. To maintain the integrity, availability and security of the gas distribution system, SP seeks a reliable monitoring system for its underground gas pipeline.

Our Solution

Syspro successfully designed and implemented an integrated surveillance system for SP’s nation-wide gas pipeline monitoring. In line with Singapore’s Sustainable Blueprint for a eco-friendly environment, the system adopted solar power for greener and better energy efficiency. By incorporating a cutting-edge wireless solution that automatically switches to LTE during network dis-connectivity, the system improves reliability greatly in video transmission and recording. All these assets are monitored via the Vanguard unified platform for seamless protection and easy accessibility.

With a high-availability surveillance system for Singapore’s gas pipeline system, SP reliable and secured Protects our homeland and prevents tragedies like Taiwan Kaohsiung’s gas explosion in 2014.
