The Challenge

SMRT Trains Ltd (SMRT) is the pioneer Mass Rapid Transit operator in Singapore. Since 1987, SMRT have provided safe and convenient transport services to millions of commuters and contributed to the vibrancy of the urban landscape. Today, SMRT operate and maintain the North-South and East-West Lines, the Circle Line and the Bukit Panjang Light Rail Transit system, covering over 148km of rail tracks across 106 stations. To maintain the integrity, availability and security of it's transit systems, SMRT seeks a reliable integrated monitoring system on-board its trains for the North-South and East-West Lines.

Our Solution

Syspro successfully implemented an Integrated Surveillance Management System (Vanguard Unified Platform) to monitor the train-borne Video Surveillance across its trains through-out the North-South and East-West Lines.

The Outcome

With the integrated surveillance system in place, SMRT once again proves to be a world-class transportation system that is safe, reliable and customer-centric.
